These photos were taken in April/May 2015, after the April 25th earthquake.  Since then all
the buildings around the temple courtyard have been demolished, their materials saved for
reconstruction.  The Nepal Army was very involved with demolition and security, and
Department of Archaeology photographed and catalogued all the carved wooden parts.  As of
October 2015, we are waiting to find out the how, when, and who of reconstruction.

Like Garuda in the rubble below, Living Traditions Museum and Changu Narayan will rise
